About Us

R&J Spinners started with a unique challenge:

Building a special spinning platform for figure skaters.

Our founders, Rob Briccotto (a skilled plumber and HVAC tech) and Jon Wampler (an aeronautical engineer), teamed up to create a powerful turntable that could spin skaters up to 360 RPM off the ice, all thanks to a request from figure skating coach, Sheila Thelen.

After years of tinkering and building some pretty interesting prototypes (we call them our “Frankenstein” models!). The VTS Flyer was born and patented.

But the story didn’t stop there! Sheila noticed that her autistic students showed incredible improvements in their behavior and sensory processing while using the Flyer.

This sparked an idea: could spinning help others too? She began testing the “Fly System” with different groups, like sharpshooters, rodeo athletes, and motocross riders, and saw amazing results!

That’s where Glynn Willard, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, came in. Glynn realized that spinning without engaging the body from the ground up was missing a crucial piece of vestibular training. Plus, not everyone has a high enough ceiling for the original Fly System!

So, Glynn, Rob, and Jon put their heads together and invented the Rail System – a versatile and accessible way to train your vestibular system that’s now a favorite in physical therapy clinics and gyms alike.

At R&J Spinners, we’re passionate about helping people improve their balance, coordination, and overall well-being through innovative spinning technology. We’re a friendly team with a unique story, and we’re excited to help you explore the benefits of vestibular training!
